DACHCZ PQ III Technical Rules for the assessment of network disturbances

Ungefähre Lesezeit dieser Seite: Minute(n)

Since 1980, there has been a joint "Recommendation for the Assessment of Network Interference" between the Association of German Electricity Works (VDEW) and the Association of Austrian Electricity Companies, which was also adopted by the Association of Swiss Electricity Companies (VSE) and the Czech Association of Regulated Electroenergetic Companies (CSRES) from 1997 onwards. In the present third edition, available after several years of work, the basic document and the requirements for low voltage have been completely revised.

The previous distinction between consumer and generation plants is omitted from this edition onwards. Regardless of the direction of the active power flow, only the term "network user’s plant" is used. This fundamental change in philosophy already considers the expected massive deployment of decentralized storage systems.

Thus, the "DACHCZ PQ III" represents the modern, central basis for the assessment of network interference of even complex plants in the distribution network in the Central European region.

The DACHCZ PQ III has been published in German and subsequently translated into English, French, and Czech. The responsible national associations in the four participating countries are: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.

The fundamentals and requirements of the DACHCZ PQ III Technical Rules for the Assessment of Network Interference for Low voltage are already accessible, whereas the translations for medium and high voltage are currently in progress and will be available soon.

In case of any difference between the language versions the German versions have priority.
