Inverters over 800 VA may be operated in parallel with the grid in accordance with TOR Erzeuger (see chapter 8, among others) if the following documents are available:

  • Test reports from a test centre accredited for this subject area in accordance with ÖVE/ÖNORM EN ISO/IEC 17025 for inverter-based power generation systems with grid connection point at low voltage level in accordance with test standard OVE guideline R 25, in which documentation of the Austria setting or a manufacturer's parameterisation manual with the country settings "Austria" has also been confirmed.

or

  • Test reports of a testing body accredited according to ÖVE/ÖNORM EN ISO/IEC 17025 for this subject area for converter-based power generation systems with grid connection point on low voltage level according to VDE-AR-N 4105 or DIN VDE V0124-100 plus protocol of the delta test according to test standard ÖVE guideline R 25 Annex B.

In the test report itself there must be a complete documentation (screenshots) of the DEFAULT settings for country "Austria". Note: settings documented at the individual tests show only settings used for the specific test, not the default settings.

Please send the full test report to wechselrichter@oesterreichsenergie.at

For new devices, we reserve the right to verify the correct function of the country settings and their documentation using a test device.

There is a new version of the Austrian grid code (TOR Stromerzeugungsanlagen Typ A V1.3) which is valid from July 1, 2024. We would like to draw your attention to the changes according to the new version:

  • 8.1 proof of conformity: It should be possible to export the complete settings of the grid-relevant parameters into a machine-readable format. Please make sure the system supports this requirement.
  • 5.1.6 Storage systems should support the active power increase at underfrequency (LFSM-UC), which is described in the “TOR Verteilernetzanschluss” 5.1.2
